So this morning I didnt check my blood sugar, nor my 500mg dose of Metformmin (On purpose) because I didnt want to discourage myself. They typically say it runs high in the mornings. But anyway, I didnt check it.

Let me rewind a bit.

Over the weekend I ate alot of spinach, I MEAN A LOT. It wasn't bad though. I ate it with everything I consumed. So for example as a snack, I ate 2 small oranges with spinach. It really wasnt half bad, and I followed with a KIND bar that has about 16g of carbs. It conquered the snack itch. And last night I ate 2 small thin cut chicken breast with about a cup of broccoli and cheese (No Rice). I thought I was gonna be hungry but to my surprise I wasnt.

So this morning as mentioned I didnt check my glucose. For breakfast I had a sausage breakfast sandwich, a hashbrown and a minute maide lemonaide. I did this on purpose to see how my levels would be before lunch. Before I ate I pricked the finger and caused a blood bath on the reader (I hate seeing my blood, so everything looks dramatic LOL) and it read 147mg. Thats with no meds. So maybe the process of adding more veggies is key. My journey for reversing this "disease" as they call it underway.

3 x Cutie Oranges
1 x KIND Bar
