The Relaxation Time

Travel the World!

About 3weeks ago(Mid June) I got dizzy at work and collapsed (I work outside). I went to the ER with dehydration and Heat Exhaustion only to find out that I would be diagnosed as being T2 Diabetic with a blood glucose of 285mg. Devastated, I went through a frenzy throwing everything out in my kitchen.

Everything you eat contains sugar which with T2 the body uses insulin to break it down. Since the diagnosis I dropped my blood glucose level to about 165-178 and today it read 145mg with high impact exercise and proper eating but it's still considered high. I'm losing ground not understanding this and I'm losing my mind over it. The nutritionist tells me to eat carbs but they turn into sugar. so I opt to cut out carbs and she tells me thats a bad thing to do. I'm like the math doesn't add up. if my sugar levels are high and carbs contribute greatly to it then why do I need to consume it? Shouldnt my body use the excess sugar it currently is retaining. i feel like I'm damned if do and damned if I don't. #random #latenightramble #dontmindme #tryingtofindground
